What is the commission rate and how long does it last?
You earn 30% of every payment your referred customer makes during their first year with AltTextLab, covering both subscription plans and one-time credit pack purchases. There is no cap on how many referrals you can make or how much you can earn. The 30% applies to every payment within that first year, so a customer on a monthly plan generates a commission every month for up to 12 months.
My referral didn't sign up right away. Did I lose the credit?
Not if they came back within 60 days of their first click on your link. The cookie lasts 60 days. They don't need to convert immediately — you get credit for the referral as long as the purchase happens within that window.
When and how do I get paid?
Payouts are processed monthly once your balance reaches $50. Payments are processed automatically through the affiliate platform. Is it free to join?
Yes, completely free. There are no sign-up fees, no minimum referral requirements, and no obligations. You sign up, get your unique affiliate link, and start sharing it whenever and however you like.
Do I need to be an AltTextLab customer to join?
No. The affiliate program is open to anyone. If you are a customer, great — you can still promote it and earn on referrals. The one exception: you can't earn commission on your own account or on self-referrals.
Is there an application or review process?
No. You sign up, get your link, and can start sharing immediately.
What counts as a qualifying referral?
A qualifying referral is any new AltTextLab customer who clicks your unique affiliate link and makes a purchase, either a paid subscription plan or a one-time credit pack, within the 60-day cookie window. The customer must be new to AltTextLab (self-referrals are not permitted). Both monthly and annual plan purchases qualify, as do any subsequent payments that customer makes within their first year.
What happens if a referred customer asks for a refund?
If a referred customer successfully receives a refund, the corresponding commission is reversed from your account balance. This is standard practice across affiliate programs — commissions are earned on completed, non-refunded purchases only.
Do you provide promotional materials?
Yes. Once you join the program, you have access to your affiliate dashboard where you can find your unique referral link and track performance in real time. Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are not permitted. The program is designed to reward you for introducing new customers to AltTextLab, not for your own purchases. Accounts found to be self-referring may be removed from the program.
How do I track my clicks, referrals, and earnings?
Your affiliate dashboard powered by Tolt gives you a real-time view of link clicks, referred signups, confirmed commissions, and pending payouts. Everything is tracked automatically — there's nothing you need to do manually to record a referral.
